A statewide virtual webinar designed to support educators serving students with visual impairments.
This session will provide important state updates, resources, and information for educators supporting students with visual impairments.
Participants will also hear from partner organizations across the state and region that offer support, tools, and programs to help deliver high-quality instruction. In addition, the Smokey Powell Center will share information on conducting effective Assistive Technology Assessments, from the referral process to implementation, learning how to gather meaningful data, collaborate with team members, and develop recommendations that support student access and independence.
