As part of the GaDOE Office of Whole Child Supports’ Student Services Leadership Series, this webinar provides an overview of the key components of the GaDOE Model Student Attendance Protocol. The session highlights the role of Student Attendance and School Climate Committees; the connection between attendance improvement, GaMTSS, and safe and healthy schools; and the use of attendance data and dashboards to identify needs, guide interventions, and monitor progress. Participants also review related guidance, including model school withdrawal forms and other compliance considerations.

Participants will:
-Describe the key components of the GaDOE Model Student Attendance Protocol and related compliance considerations, including model forms and school withdrawal guidance.
-Explain how the model protocol connects to Student Attendance and School Climate Committees, GaMTSS, and safe and healthy schools.
-Identify ways to use attendance data and dashboards to guide prevention, intervention, and monitoring efforts.
