There are multiple layers involved in supporting English Learners in 3D Science:
* Planning a lesson with content-language integration associating the Science GSEs and WIDA ELDS Language Expectations.
* Instructional strategies and scaffolding to support students at different moments along their sense-making journey.
* Introduction of vocabulary to build academic science language.
