In January 2023, the Mental Health & Wellness Team held an in-person listening session on mental health with approximately 70 high school students from across Georgia. This session highlights the themes that emerged from the listening session and provides resources to assist schools and LEAs in implementing the students’ suggestions. Topics include students’ ideas for increasing mental health awareness in the school environment and encouraging students to reach out for help when needed.
