Teacher Clarity and Student-Centered Instruction for K-12 Academic Coaches
June 3 @ 9:00 am - 10:30 am

Description:
Join us for a highly interactive session for K-12 instructional coaches and teachers focused on planning and facilitating student-centered practices or personalized learning. All content is aligned with Georgia’s vision and standards for personalized learning.
Our goal is to guide coaches in understanding the why, what, and how of teacher clarity and personalized learning so they can support and assist teachers. We will explore how to implement teacher clarity by communicating the learning intention and success criteria so students can identify their learning progress. Activities will include student-focused approaches and simulations of best practices in action, including voice and choice.
Facilitators will share hands-on and reflection activities designed to engage and empower learners. Participants will walk away with knowledge of easy-to-use learner-centered experiences and the ability to apply practices that build capacity for the sustainability of personalized learning.
