Prior Written Notice (PWN) is an Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) federal requirement. This training is designed to allow School Psychologists to explore the 5 Ws of PWN through their scope of work. Participants will learn what PWN is, who must receive it, how it must be provided, why it is required, and when it is required. Examples and nonexamples are provided to guide participants through Local Educational Agency (LEA) policy, practice, and procedure development.
