The Power of Self-Determination for Students with Disabilities
This session will focus on what self-determination is, why it is important, and how to promote self-determination Pre-K-12. The presenter will share examples of how to promote self-determination, give research that supports self-determination and lead participants in engagement activities to promote self-determination with their students. Goals: Define Self-Determination. Locate tools and resources to promote self-determination.
