TKES Initial Credentialing Training

June 6 - July 25

Duration: 5 hours 30 minutes

Intended Audience: District Leaders, School Leaders

Teacher Keys Effectiveness System (TKES) Initial Credentialing is the course required for new school and district leaders who will use TKES to support and evaluate all Georgia teachers of record, grades Pre-K through 12.

This one-day, 5.5-hour virtual course will provide leaders with content and skills for implementing TKES with fidelity. To become fully credentialed in TKES, participants must complete and pass the TKES Credentialing Assessment within five days of taking the virtual course. Upon passing the assessment and obtaining the badge, leaders may begin supporting and evaluating teachers with TKES.

Important: To access the credentialing assessment, leaders will need access to the platform using the district’s Student Information System (SIS).
