Understanding and making the most of your teacher evaluation system is an important part of continuing to grow as a professional dance educator. This video explains the Teacher Keys Effectiveness System (TKES) and its three components which provide multiple sources of data. These components include the Teacher Assessment on Performance Standards (TAPS), Professional Growth, and Student Growth. The overarching goal of TKES for dance teachers is to support the continuous growth and development of each teacher.
