What's New with the GaMTSS District Fidelity Tool (DFT)
Recorded Webinar

Description:
The District Fidelity Tool (DFT) has been updated for 2026–27 to provide a more accurate and consistent measure of district implementation of GaMTSS. Key updates include an expanded 0–3 rating scale that better captures stages of implementation, revisions to the rating process and format designed to improve consistency, reliability, and team collaboration, and changes to several features within the tool that improve clarity and precision in what is being measured.
This informative session helps participants understand the updated DFT and its role in assessing district systems, structures, and practices that support effective GaMTSS implementation. Participants will explore how to apply the revised rating scale using evidence to determine ratings. The session will also emphasize how to use DFT results as a continuous improvement tool by identifying strengths, prioritizing areas for growth, and developing meaningful action plans that support sustainable implementation and improved outcomes for students.
By the end of this session, participants can:
– Describe the 2026–27 updates to the District Fidelity Tool, including the revised 0–3 rating scale, updated rating process, and feature-level changes.
– Explain how the changes to the DFT improve the consistency, reliability, and usefulness of district fidelity data.
– Apply the revised rating scale using district evidence to determine accurate feature ratings.
– Analyze DFT results to identify implementation priorities and develop action steps that strengthen district capacity and support continuous improvement.
