What's New with the GaMTSS School Fidelity Tool (SFT)
Recorded Webinar

Description:
The School Fidelity Tool (SFT) has been updated for 2026–27 to better support schools in assessing and improving the implementation of GaMTSS practices. Key updates include an expanded 0–3 rating scale that captures incremental stages of implementation, as well as revisions to the rating process and format that promote greater consistency, reliability, and collaboration among school teams.
This informative session will help participants understand the updated SFT and its role in helping schools identify strengths and opportunities for growth across the essential components of GaMTSS implementation. Participants will explore how to apply the revised rating scale using evidence to determine ratings. The session will also focus on how to use SFT results to inform school improvement efforts, prioritize next steps, and strengthen systems and practices that lead to positive outcomes for all students.
By the end of this session, participants will be able to:
– Describe the 2026–27 updates to the School Fidelity Tool, including the revised 0–3 rating scale and updated rating process.
– Explain how the changes to the SFT improve the consistency, reliability, and usefulness of school fidelity data.
– Understand how to apply the revised rating scale using school-based evidence to determine accurate feature ratings.
– Analyze SFT results to identify implementation priorities and develop action steps that strengthen schoolwide GaMTSS implementation and continuous improvement.
