WIDA Hybrid Workshop - Teacher Leaders: Planning with the ELD Standards

Hybrid format: One live virtual webinar + one-day in-person workshop + self-paced learning activities

Important: Please coordinate registration with your ESOL coordinator, as there is a limit of 2 participants per school system or charter school, on a first-come, first-served basis.

This workshop is for you if you can answer “yes” to most of the following questions:
• Have you been asked to provide professional development about the WIDA English Language Development (ELD) Standards Framework to educators in your school or district?
• Do you engage in co-planning with content/classroom educators on a regular basis?
• Do you have experience evaluating and/or designing content lessons and units?
• Do you have a strong background in the WIDA ELD Standards Framework and in working with English learners (ELs)?

This workshop is designed to support teacher leaders and instructional coaches who provide local professional development and support for using the WIDA English Language Development Standards Framework to plan instruction.

There is no cost to register for this hybrid workshop. Participants are responsible for their own travel expenses.
