This presentation provides an overview of World Languages and Dual Language Immersion in Georgia, emphasizing the importance of access, continuity, proficiency-based instruction, and long-term language pathways. It explains Georgia’s K–12 program models, DLI goals and standards, Credit in Lieu of Enrollment, graduation and college-admission considerations, HOPE Scholarship implications, Dual Enrollment opportunities, academic pathways, and the Georgia Seal of Biliteracy and International Skills Diploma Seal. The presentation also highlights Georgia’s global economic connections, offers questions leaders can use to evaluate their district programs, and connects districts with GaDOE instructional resources, professional learning, newsletters, networks, and direct support.
