GaDOE World Languages is pleased to present these by-request professional learning workshops for RESAs and school districts/LEAs for all World Languages educators.
These full-day, in-person workshops begin at 9:00 a.m. and end at 3:00 p.m., with the opening session being a GaDOE World Languages introduction that explains how to access resources and provides an update to current initiatives from the Georgia Department of Education. These resources include access to standards, curriculum maps, exemplar unit plans, and exemplar lesson plans (all accessible through various GaDOE pages).
The sessions/segments are content-specific and can be booked by representatives of RESAS or district-level administrators. We are unable to offer courses to individual schools. These workshops require a minimum of 15 participants due to associated travel and material costs. Participants are encouraged to bring their own devices.
