This is a recorded webinar of the information presented at the Let’s Talk ELA, GA! for Teachers session on March 10, 2026, which focused on supporting instruction and preparation for end-of-year assessments. Members of the Assessment Development Team introduced and walked through their newly developed Peer Revision Resource and addressed several frequently asked questions about the Georgia Milestones assessment.
The session also features the inaugural 5-in-5 segment, where Andrew Tyson, a 6th grade ELA teacher from Commerce City Schools, shares how he structures peer revision in his classroom to help students strengthen their writing, provide meaningful feedback, and build skills that support success on Georgia Milestones. This practical teacher-to-teacher segment offers ideas educators can adapt for their own classrooms.
