Let's Talk ELA, GA! for Teachers: October 2026 (Standard T.T.2 Overview)
Recorded Webinar

Description:
In this recorded October 2026 session of Let’s Talk ELA, GA! for Teachers, educators explore how the language of Georgia’s K–12 ELA Standards connects planning and instruction with questioning, assessment, and feedback. With Standard T.T.2: Expository Techniques (K–12) as the focus, consider how consistent use of standard-specific language can clarify what students are learning and how they demonstrate understanding. We explore ways to leverage available GaDOE resources to help carry that language into learning targets, classroom conversations, and feedback as students interpret and construct texts. Reflect on how these connections can preserve the intent and cognitive demand of the standards while supporting a coherent instructional cycle.
