MTSS is often seen as a framework for elementary settings and not high school. But there is strong evidence that MTSS implementation in high school is worthwhile as it leads to improved student outcomes, decreased behavior incidents, and increased graduation rates.
In this second session of the three-part series, Becky Wright, Georgia Tiered System of Supports Program Specialist, discusses the essential criteria of an MTSS progress monitoring system, three progress monitoring goals setting strategies, and two approaches to analyzing progress monitoring data.
