As part of the GaDOE Office of Whole Child Supports’ Student Services Leadership Series, this webinar provides an overview of the key components of the GaDOE Model Student Attendance Protocol. The session highlights the role of Student Attendance and School Climate Committees, the connection between attendance improvement, GaMTSS, and safe and healthy schools, and the use of attendance data and dashboards to identify needs, guide interventions, and monitor progress. Participants also review related guidance, including model school withdrawal forms and other compliance considerations.
