This session of Procurement Connections focuses on processing. Presenters Teresa Stevenson, Lisa Powell, and Angelica Flucas identify the value of a strategic and early procurement timeline for processing solicitations, distinguish required language and elements that are unique to processing solicitations, correlate the processing contract award timeframe with assigning pounds to a processor and building trucks, and finally illustrate common challenges and gaps that proper and timely procurement can prevent.
