Strong 21st CCLC implementation begins with a feasible plan grounded in local needs and supported by the people and resources needed to carry it out. This video introduces Program Planning and Launch Readiness and examines whether the key elements needed to launch or expand a program are clearly defined, confirmed, and supported by evidence.
Learn how to assess readiness related to local needs and priorities, program design, organizational commitment, partnerships, staffing and resources, and the planning processes needed to move from an idea to a realistic launch. During this video, you will have the opportunity to complete Domain 1 of the Program Readiness Assessment tool.
