Manager Workshop Session 1 kicks off with presenters, Dr. Linette Dodson, Kelli Cook, and Rolandria Boyce. The session focuses on leadership. Presenters take the opportunity to explore numerous areas of leadership and how the manager’s role is vital to the service of quality school meals to Georgia students. At the end of the session, participants are able to define the difference between a leadership mindset versus a managing-only mindset, identify the value of effective communication on leadership, and describe the benefits of a growth mindset to expand leadership abilities. This is beneficial for Managers, Manager/Supervisors, and Assistant Managers. Learning Code(s): 3210
