Manager Workshop Session 2 welcomes presenters, Chef Michael DuBose, Chef Rachel Petragalia, Chef John Huff, and Food Safety Specialist Dr. Ellen Steinberg. Presenters take an opportunity to introduce attendees to the State Culinary team and share their goal to support and build culinary skills, share best practices and insights, and work with all districts in the state of Georgia to ensure culinary-focused programs. At the end of the session, participants are able to apply purposeful operations for quality school meals, identify how to utilize the Culinary Pathway to build kitchen confidence, and define the concept of a Food Safety Culture. This is beneficial for Managers, Manager/Supervisors, and Assistant Managers. Learning Code(s): 2130 (Culinary), 2620 (Food Safety)
